Games 4 Tolerance (T-Games)

Bullying prevention through game methodology for children aged 4–10

Project timeline

1 Nov 2020 – 30 Jun 2022

Games 4 Tolerance (T-Games for short) is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. It is developed in cooperation with partner organisations from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, and Romania. The project aims to contribute to reducing and preventing bullying. Together, we will create easily applicable tools and games for educational institutions, teachers, and educators working with children.

Project intent

The intent of the project is to contribute to reducing the number of bullying cases through prevention starting at an early age. An international team of experts will create a database of new educational games and a handbook on bullying and game methodology, which will serve for both prevention and resolution of bullying in groups across three age categories (4–5, 6–7, 8–10 years).

Project goals

  • Better-trained teachers, educators, and support professionals capable of confronting bullying in all its forms.
  • Greater confidence in using games in kindergartens and primary schools to create a safe environment for discussing bullying.
  • Improved content of bullying prevention programmes through the use of game principles and methodologies.
  • Reduction of differences in knowledge, skills, and understanding of bullying among partner countries.

Target group

  • Direct: Teachers in kindergartens and primary schools.
  • Indirect: Children aged 4 to 10, their families, and other community members.
