4C-FUTURE

A comprehensive methodology for teaching and developing 4C competencies in school education using gamification and experiential learning

Project timeline

December 2024 – November 2027

4C-FUTURE is an international educational project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, introducing an innovative approach to teaching the so-called 4C competencies — critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.

These skills are essential for students' future success in the labour market and in life. The 4C-FUTURE project helps schools develop these competencies through modern, engaging, and effective methods aligned with the realities of today's digital world.

The main goal of the project is to equip teachers with tools and methodologies that enable effective development of these skills in students, which is key to preparing young people for the challenges of the 21st century.

Project impact

  • Improved teaching: The project will deliver innovative teaching methods that support the development of 4C competencies and prepare teachers for effective use of digital tools.
  • Media and digital literacy: The project emphasises the development of media and digital literacy, which is essential for recognising and combating disinformation and fake news.
  • Long-term impact: The methodologies and tools developed within the project are expected to be used not only during its lifetime but also long after its completion, leading to lasting improvement of the educational process.

Project goals

  • Develop a methodology for teaching 4C skills using gamification, experiential learning, and facilitation.
  • Support teachers in adopting innovative approaches in the classroom.
  • Improve students' information and media literacy and their ability to resist disinformation.
  • Develop an online educational platform and offer open-access tools and teaching materials.
