SkillUp Game
Improving the competence of “problem solving in a technology-intensive environment” in low-skilled adults through gamification, serious games and LARPs.
Duration: November 2019- February 2022
Main goal
The goal is the development of competence “for solving problems in a technological environment”, which, according to the PIAAC study, is underdeveloped in adults. This competence is defined as the ability to use digital technologies, communication tools and networks to acquire and evaluate information, communicate with the environment and manage practical activities. It is also a combination of sub-competences: digital, reading and numerical.
To this end, we will develop a comprehensive methodology using the approach of gamification, serious games and larps (live action role-playing) to support the development of key competences for people with low qualifications, to expand their educational opportunities and contributed to the methodical education of lecturers and trainers who work with this target group.
