Science Café for Adults

Main goal

contribute to the development of knowledge and qualifications of adults who have completed or interrupted formal education;

encourage people to take more active roles in engaging in scientific and technological matters relevant to everyday life;

break down barriers promoting equal opportunities for adults over 45;

introduce the use of micro-teaching, the so-called bite-sized learning, as a supplement to formal education. A new form of informal education that is mobile, flexible and easily digestible by a wide range of students.
