e-Green project – energy green
implementing road safety action plan in schools
Main goal
The goal of the e-Green Erasmus+ project is to provide information and tools which will assist schools to develop and implement a road safety action plan in collaboration with their school community to reduce the risk of any incidents occurring during the commute to and from school.
To this end, the project will design a Handbook, some videos and a Training System for Teachers. However, our resources will benefit the whole school community – the board of management, school principal, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, etc.
Main outputs
- Road Safety Manual for Bicycles and Electric Scooters – Road Safety Manual focused on the proper use of bicycles and electric scooters for primary schools, targeting both teachers and children 6-12
- Audiovisual Resources for Primary Schools – involving children themselves in the production of the videos
- Training for Teachers and Road Safety Campaign
